Ricohard 2 Ricohard 1

by Rococo (Riverman – Phaedra), out of Carmen (Capone – Isabel)

Foaled in 2009, 16.3hh Oldenburg gelding. Rico has dressage show experience and has also been ridden in parades. We have been taking our time training this gelding in order to give his large bones and brain time to mature. He has a solid foundation in first level dressage and has also been started over fences. He has tons of scope over fences and is a beautiful mover on the flat with a tremendous amount of impulsion. This very sweet and talented horse has a great work ethic who loves having a job. He can also be ridden by experienced youth riders who are working with a trainer. Rico has a very sweet personality and loves attention. Rico’s bloodlines are high class all the way, and include Riverman, who has been named 3 times the USEF Eventing Sire of the Year and he was honored for 3 consecutive years with the South Pacific Award as the Top-Ranked US-based Show Jumping Sire by the USEF.

Brewski 1 Brewski 2

MORE BEER FOR PAUL (AKA “Brewski”): $7,000 ~ SOLD

by Bierstadt (Hennessy – Tricky Game), out of Barfly Nannie (Free at Last – Bund)

Foaled in 2010, 16.3hh Thoroughbred gelding. Brewski is a handsome,  hardworking OTTB with a huge heart and drive to perform. Lightly raced at only 6 starts, this powerhouse has been started over fences and in the dressage ring for a future in eventing. This performance horse is very brave over fences and has striking movement on the flat. He already  has show mileage in schooling shows and has also been ridden in parades.

Although Paul is very affectionate and willing to please, he requires an intermediate/advanced rider to focus his athletic mind and body. He has been used in a school program and ridden by young children and teenagers, but the rider must have a good seat and confidence as this horse can be very enthusiastic and does occasionally use his powerful hindquarters to crow hop when he gets overly excited or is not exercised on a regular basis. While he has impressive speed and power he is also incredibly responsive with a soft mouth; he is ridden in a snaffle.  Paul has stunning conformation, and wonderful sport horse bloodlines that include leading sire Storm Cat.

She also enjoyed competing in cross country pair paces and riding in cattle drives and fox hunts. Duchess has some pretty athletic bloodlines with Mr. Prospector only 3 generations back on her sire’s side and Seattle Slew 3 generations back on her dam’s side.
