PROGRAM FOR TROUBLED & NEGLECTED AT-RISK YOUTH
Eagle View Outreach (EVO) is our program that is directed toward children with behavioral issues and those suffering from low self esteem and lack of confidence. With non-judgmental and unconditional love, encouragement, and guidance from our staff and horses, we serve as mentors modeling and teaching attitudes of integrity and behaviors of strong values. We teach and equip them to handle adversity, success, and changing circumstances, and then give them the opportunity to develop and test their own judgment so that eventually they can cope independently and, despite their hardships, can become productive and stable adults, knowing the appropriate way to respond to life’s challenges. By educating, equipping, and empowering them we will give them the tools they need to move forward in their lives and give them hope for a better future.
Children in the program will build strong character by learning:
- How to trust and what it takes for them to be trusted by others
- Respect for others and how to earn respect in return
- Discipline
- Responsibility
- Perseverance
- Patience
- Confidence
- Physical fitness
